About us

Here at Kōco Soap Co. we wanted to create a line of natural vegetable based soaps inspired by the “lāʻau kaʻa waʻa” or Hawai`ian “Canoe Plants”. 

Over a millennia ago Polynesian voyagers traveled with 23 species of plants, which were the building blocks to their lives.    Kō (sugarcane), Niu (coconut), Kukui (candle nut), Noni (Indian Mulberry) and ʻōlena (Turmeric) were just a few of the plants that made the voyage.  We hand blend these botanicals with clinically proven skin nourishing ingredients, crafting our gentle Kaua`i made wellness and beauty experiences.

Kōco strives to bring you skincare products made from high quality ingredients while showcasing a very important part Hawai`iʻs History. 

We are a husband and wife team who simply want to share a little Hawai`ian culture while making your skin the best it has ever been!
